Sarum College requested a modern, easy-to-use website to grow their student body, build brand assurance and allow for easy content management. Their previous website was busy and slow to load with a complicated navigation structure – it is now a sleek, streamlined website optimised for both the client and their users.
What we delivered
Our Approach
Our developers built Sarum College a custom WordPress site to allow for optimum content management. The bespoke functionality content layout system means that the client can manage and edit everything on their website with ease, including all copy, images and menus. The site now boasts a multitude of layout options for the client to choose from, without needing to touch a line of code!
We integrated two third-party plugins to seamlessly pull through information from external databases onto the website – users can now easily access the course, accommodation and events booking systems from the relevant pages of the website.
The client’s bespoke new site harnesses information relating to courses and displays this on the individual course pages, allowing them to edit and add new courses to the website automatically.
Heightened User Journey
Sarum College’s original website had a large, complex sitemap that proved a maze for users to navigate. We worked closely with the client to streamline the sitemap, creating a website with a flawless user journey to make navigation easy.
The site is now user-friendly, guiding visitors on a clear journey through the site that concludes with the option to easily book and purchase the College’s courses online.
The new content management system enables related content to be pulled through, such as lecturers on individual course pages.
Flawless Design
Sarum College’s new site is image-led, showcasing a clean and modern design with bountiful white space and colour accents to boost ease of use. The finished result is a fresh, welcoming and professional site, optimised for ease of use whilst letting the client’s stunning imagery take centre stage.
