Blue Bee PKB Enters the Premier Pickleball League

We are delighted to announce that Blue Bee is officially sponsoring a team in Season 4 of the Premier Pickleball League PPL, competing in the Challenger Division. Blue Bee PKB marks our first step into competitive, organised team pickleball and it is a milestone we are incredibly excited about.

As a business, we have always believed in supporting initiatives that bring people together, promote wellbeing, and create opportunities to grow. Entering the world of competitive pickleball feels like a natural extension of those values, and we are looking forward to seeing where this journey takes us.

The Draft Is Coming

The foundations are already in place. Tryouts took place on 17 May, bringing together a strong pool of talented players all eager to compete at a high level.

Now the focus shifts to the Season 4 draft, taking place over the weekend of 22 to 24 May. This is where it all comes together. The draft will determine the final squad, the players who will proudly wear the Blue Bee PKB colours and represent us throughout the season.

There is plenty of anticipation around who will make the team, and we are just as excited as everyone else to see the final lineup revealed. Watch this space.

What Is the Premier Pickleball League

For those new to the sport, the Premier Pickleball League is England’s leading team based pickleball competition. It brings together some of the strongest players from across the UK and Europe and offers a structured, high quality competitive environment.

The league is made up of three divisions, Challenger, Masters, and Premier, allowing teams to compete at the appropriate level while creating clear pathways for progression.

Season 4 will be played across six weekends at venues throughout the UK. Matches will take place at well known locations including Bolton Arena, Hampshire Court Hotel, and venues in Tunbridge Wells, Stourbridge, Basingstoke, Swindon, and Stoke on Trent.

The season begins on 18 to 19 July at Bolton Arena and runs through to March 2026. The Challenger Division fixtures will take place on Saturdays, offering a consistent and competitive schedule across the season.

This is a serious and rapidly growing competition, and we are proud to be part of a league that is helping to elevate the sport across the country.

Why We Got Involved

Pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports in the UK, and its rise has been particularly noticeable here in Salisbury. Participation is increasing, local communities are forming around the sport, and the level of competition continues to improve.

As a business rooted in the local area, getting involved felt like an obvious move. Sponsoring Blue Bee PKB gives us the opportunity to support players directly, contribute to the development of the sport, and engage with a passionate and growing community.

It also gives us a chance to take the Blue Bee brand beyond our usual channels, aligning ourselves with something energetic, competitive, and community driven. It is not just about sponsorship, it is about being part of something with real momentum.

Follow the Journey

The draft is just the beginning.

Once the squad is confirmed, we will be sharing regular updates throughout the season, including team announcements, match results, behind the scenes moments, and highlights from each event.
