HASCS: Reimagined Online
When HASCS approached us, their primary goal was to create a new website that truly reflected who they are. They wanted a platform that showcased the strength of their qualified nursing team, their ability to rapidly mobilise care across the UK and the dedicated welfare support they provide to carers, including those based overseas. Alongside this, the website needed to support recruitment by highlighting career progression, apprenticeships, NVQs and HASCS’s commitment to developing people within the care sector.
From the start, it was clear that the website needed to feel personal, knowledgeable, caring and warm. HASCS were keen to avoid a corporate feel and instead wanted an inviting digital presence that spoke directly to carers, healthcare professionals and individuals with a genuine passion for care and community.

Driving a Stronger Online Presence for HASCS
We began the project by meeting with HASCS representatives and project managers to gain a clear understanding of their values, goals and target audience. These early conversations were essential in shaping both the structure and tone of the website, ensuring that every design and content decision aligned with their ethos.
To keep the process focused and collaborative, we started with a dedicated design phase that concentrated solely on the homepage. This allowed us to establish the visual direction, user experience and tone of voice before moving into the wider site. Accessibility was a key consideration throughout, with design concepts built around clear navigation, movement through subtle shapes and transitions and features to support visually impaired users.
The visual identity combined calming blues with warm orange accents, supported by fluid shapes inspired by HASCS’s community‑focused approach. The designs also incorporated space for video content, dynamic elements such as sliders and a structure that could grow with the business. Once the homepage design was reviewed and approved, we moved on to designing the agreed inner pages, ensuring consistency and clarity across the entire site.
At the same time, we collaborated with HASCS on website content. To make this process as smooth as possible, we created clear content templates that guided the client on structure.

From design to successful launch
As the website came together, we carried out thorough internal checks to ensure everything functioned as intended across devices, browsers, and accessibility requirements. Any refinements were handled collaboratively, with regular updates and feedback from the HASCS team.
One of the key challenges was balancing the depth of information required for healthcare and recruitment audiences while maintaining a warm, inviting feel. By carefully structuring content and focusing on clear user journeys, we were able to present complex information in a way that felt supportive rather than overwhelming.
Once all final checks were complete and HASCS were happy with the finished website, we proceeded with sign‑off and launch setup. The result was a website that not only met the original goals but also provided HASCS with a strong digital foundation for growth, recruitment, and community engagement.
The new HASCS website now reflects the heart of their organisation, combining professionalism with genuine care, and supporting their mission to deliver personalised complex care across the UK.
Strengthening presence beyond the website
Once the new website was live, we got to work on marketing, with our initial focus on SEO, content creation and Google Ads.

Google Ads
We set up a number of Google Ads campaigns that went live at the same time as the new website. PPC campaigns are an effective way to increase traffic to a website, particularly a new one.
Blue Bee used its experience of both Google Ads and working with similar care providers to construct well-planned, optimised campaigns. HASCS wanted to focus their efforts and budget on recruitment, so several campaigns were created to attract carers and nurses across a range of roles and locations.
The campaign ran for 10 months, achieving 417 conversions and a conversion rate of 5.44%. The campaigns were so successful that HASCS ultimately needed to scale back their recruitment drive.
As a result, the Work With Us page is now the second most visited page on the website and has seen a 33% increase in views in 2025 compared to 2024.
Through strategic Google Ads management, conversions have soared by 120%, delivering exceptional growth.
SEO and Content
While core SEO principles were embedded during the website build, including clear page structures, optimised metadata and a mobile-friendly design, effective SEO is an ongoing process rather than a one-off task. Search algorithms and user behaviour continue to evolve, and maintaining strong visibility requires consistent attention.
Following launch, we continued to support HASCS with ongoing SEO management, tracking performance, refining keyword targeting and producing relevant, insight-led content. This approach helps keep the website visible, competitive and aligned with changing search behaviour over time.
Since the website went live, the average organic Google search position for HASCS has improved from 36.7 to 23.7. In addition, over the last 12 months, 139 keywords have either improved their rankings or begun ranking for the first time. This clearly demonstrates that the SEO and content work is having the desired effect.

Blogs
Since the website went live, we have produced over 30 blogs containing carefully researched keywords across a variety of topics. These blogs showcase the excellent work HASCS does, as well as the career opportunities available for those seeking a career in the care industry.
We always ensure HASCS are happy with the content we produce and work closely with them to ensure the blogs are accurate, relevant and engaging to read. HASCS themselves have also been proactive in sharing the latest news and more human stories from within the organisation, helping to maintain a well-balanced mix of content.
Marketing Newsletter
More recently, HASCS decided to trial external email marketing, which we fully supported. Our designers produced branded Mailchimp templates for both internal and external communications, and we began producing monthly emails promoting the latest news, training courses and current vacancies.
The first three emails achieved an average open rate of 28.3% and an average click-through rate of 2%.
Conclusion
Since the website went live, there has been a 129.78% increase in sessions and a significant 69.25% increase in direct traffic in 2025. In 2025, conversions increased by 38.63% compared to 2024, demonstrating the impact of the combined website design and development, SEO, content creation, PPC campaigns and email marketing, alongside the excellent work HASCS has been doing on social media.
