
Reinvigorating Millie Mae’s brand identity
Millie Mae are a unique fashion retailer based in Templecombe, Somerset. With shops based in Sidmouth, Sherborne and Wells, the company was established alongside it’s partner brand, Forever England.
Initially, Millie Mae’s offerings were available through the Forever England website. However, from the outset, the vision was clear: to reinvigorate Millie Mae’s brand identity and create a standalone digital retail platform. This new platform would exclusively feature Millie Mae products, providing a dedicated space for customers to explore and purchase their favourite items.

Sleek, user-friendly website
Our initial task was to take Millie Mae’s existing brand identity and refresh it, aligning them with competitor brands like Oliver Bonas and Sea Salt, and accessories brands like One Hundred Stars and Accessorize.
This whimsy fashion brand takes a lot of its inspiration from the classic British countryside. Think bohemian chic, with silk scarves, and embellished hair accessories. Printed kaftans for those long summer evenings and cosy printed scarves for when the weather turns colder. Millie Mae offers a host of unique and beautiful fashion products well suited to the shopper that likes to add a touch of colour and quirkiness to their wardrobe.
We built a new brand identity using floral illustrations to be used across their social media platforms and brand packaging. A carefully selected script font was chosen to feature across the brand material to help them stand out and a balanced colour palette of cool rose tones and burgundy were chosen to finish off the look.

Bespoke Shopify website
Our next step was to produce a Shopify website for our retail fashion brand, Millie Mae. With bespoke features like a look-book, gift card, wishlist, style it with product recommendations and product variants. We were able to produce a website that caters exactly to their requirements. Users can complete their shopping experience with ease using integrated payment platforms.

Social Media Ads
Once the website launched, it was imperative we helped Millie Mae get noticed across their chosen social media platforms. A giveaway competition was launched with a boosted meta backing to help the post reach a wider audience.
By taking brand material our designers branded various video material to help entice users to follow Millie Mae and visit the new website.
Google Ads
By implementing a Google shopping campaign, products from Millie Mae can easily be found via Google when they search for certain products.


SEO
With thorough and thoughtful research conducted by our marketing team, we worked on blog titles and written content that would help Millie Mae rank well alongside their competitors. Our SEO strategy aims to focus organically on rankings, focusing heavily on meaningful and useful content to attract the intended audience.


Successful project outcomes
Following our marketing initiatives, we have successfully positioned Millie Mae as a standout fashion brand in a competitive market.
Our meta competition has driven an impressive growth in our social media presence, attracting over 500 new followers within just a couple of weeks. Additionally, our targeted meta advertisement, featuring a selection of Millie Mae products, has achieved over 100,000 impressions and 3,000 link clicks.
Since the website launch in late 2024, we have experienced a remarkable 398% increase in orders. By strategically promoting Black Friday and January sales, we have significantly boosted website traffic and achieved an overall 64% conversion rate from launch.
