Enhancing Stonehenge Courtyard’s online presence with cutting edge design
Stonehenge Courtyard is a boutique hotel situated near the world-renowned Stonehenge monument. The hotel offers a unique blend of historical charm and modern amenities, making it a popular choice for tourists and history enthusiasts.
Stonehenge Courtyard asked Blue Bee to revamp its brand identity and develop a new, user-friendly website to enhance its appeal and reach a broader audience.

Turning vision into reality
Our primary objectives were to rebrand Stonehenge Courtyard to reflect its unique heritage and contemporary comforts. Our goals were clear; to create a new website that would be visually attractive and easy to navigate. The website needed to act as a hub for users to keep track of local upcoming events and activities as well as being optimised for search engines.
Additionally, the project aimed to increase online bookings and improve overall customer engagement through a seamless and efficient booking process.

Facing the challenges of a digital makeover
One of the main challenges was to strike a balance between highlighting the historical significance of Stonehenge and showcasing the modern luxury offered by the hotel.
It was also crucial to ensure that the website would be accessible and easy to use for a diverse audience, including international tourists. Integrating a booking system that was both efficient and user-friendly was another key challenge that needed to be addressed.

Successful project outcomes
We tackled these challenges with a comprehensive approach. For branding, we designed a new logo blending Stonehenge elements with modern aesthetics. During our scope meeting with our client we discussed visions, colour palettes, typography, trends and competitors. We avoided the overused Stonehenge silhouette because we wanted them to stand out. Our client had a specific colour palette and they were open to experimenting with fonts and shapes.
Once the branding was complete, we created a new website using the same colour palette and typography, emphasising the new photography. As a business they wanted to connect with the local community by promoting local events on the blog section of their new website, attracting visitors and building relationships.
Finally, we integrated Stonehenge Courtyard’s booking portal to the new website. We are proud to have delivered a stunning brand package and functional website for our client.
