Mini Professionals Dance Academy (MPDA) are a leading dance studio based in Oxford, offering high-quality dance training for children primarily, in addition to adults, parents and babies. The Academy boasts three locations in the Oxford area, including a brand-new, purpose-built dance studio.

They needed a website with both high functionality and stand-out design to support their business growth and make MPDA stand out from the crowd.

MPDA requested a website that appealed to both pupils and parents. Whilst featuring an integrated timetable, booking system and WooCommerce shop, the site needed to encapsulate the fun and upbeat nature of the business.

After a thorough scoping meeting with the client, the blue bee team set to work creating the website that MPDA had dreamed of.

The finished product is a modern and vivacious site that reflects the bubbly professionalism of MPDA and its staff. It is a welcoming, inspiring space that sets the client apart from its competitors. Highlights of the site include an integrated timetable and booking functionality, staff profile pages and an embedded WooCommerce shop.

Fun, eye-catching website design

The client requested a clean, modern and welcoming website design with pops of colour to appeal to their target audience – parents and children.

To design a website as full of character as the business, our design team included bright colours to complement MPDA’s red branding, plus stand-out design features like colour fade overlays and stylised text outlines.

The bright design boasts large images, carousel slideshows and retro overlays.

Integrated class timetable, booking system and shop

The client needed a seamless timetable and booking system as the core functionality on the new site. Integrated into the website, this functionality allows customers to book classes online for their three locations and staff to amend the timetable with ease.

The site also required a bespoke consent system with parental consent forms for classes.

Phase two of the website development will see the launch of MPDA’s WooCommerce merchandise shop that has already been built by the blue bee web development team.
